Nothing is drawn from stock. Each work is interlaced for one lens pitch, bonded in register by hand and checked by eye before it leaves — the craft is in that registration, and it is not a step that can be hurried. 30 × 30 and 40 × 40 cm are ready in a few days; from 60 × 60 cm up it is the same build, but a far bigger job by hand — a larger sheet, a longer bonding run and register that has to hold right across the piece — and it takes about 14 days. Every piece is hand-made and exclusive to its order, and carries its own number and a certificate of authenticity. The 30 × 30 is an 18 × 18 cm image in a dark 30 × 30 cm mat.
